return of the Invisible Car-girl
Car-girl is back from her week of the living dread: a week ago Saturday she phoned & cussed us out over needing a ride to Electric City; she had some mysterious ailment that she thought was strep throat. However, now she's doing fine. We did our usual TA thing Tuesday, while Trish watched (of course) the Buffster kick ass. Car-girl & I went to the Dollar Store in the mall to pick up a week's supply of canned food, & to Bi-Mart for milk. We had a good chat about Willy & Joey in the Invisible Mall Restaurant. Basically, Willy is kicked out of the house, no matter how mad he is about it; Joey is writing again: she got into another fight with her boyfriend.
When I returned, Trish had to go shortly to physical therapy, so I watched the Immaculate Collection in her absence. I had rollo de pollo for supper while she had clams, & some tomato soup. There are enough left-overs that I can skip going to the Layout today, even though Lisa is working. I can do without the Aggravation.
Also, the return of the inevitable "Quantum Amplifier" on Critters is imminent, so I want to do as much as possible on Mindstorm in order to have the novel ready for an agent to look at -- though I'd prefer just to send the iUniverse version, with a note to the effect of, it's changed -- it's just that I feel I should be able to outline how & where it's changed, & where the hell was Ulysses when I needed him last February? Ted really needs to get over the big crunch at work so we can write some more stories.
